Just received this beautiful piece. Artwork for my desk for now, but one day I’ll own an old Porsche that will make it feel at home atop its shifter...

The craftsman (also Dave) kept my name for months until he had one that wasn’t 100% as perfect as he wanted it to be, and then contacted me and sold it at a deep discount.

Figure out a way to use it in the E90!

It works (well) in the Carrera GT, but I'm afraid it will be way out of place in my car.

That’s a very nice piece! I just made my first two shift knobs over Thanksgiving. I’ve discovered I really like working on a lathe.
I’m going to try turning some Acrylic next. I also found pre-made blanks that people use for duck calls. I think they would make some very nice shift knobs.

Yeah, I couldn’t see spending full price on something I wasn’t actually going to use all the time. The place that sells them for him charges $85 - honestly not a bad price at all for what you get - but I got mine for about a third of that.
